<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sunroof drain structure of an automobile allowing connection of a sunroof housing and a drain hose with one touch of them at good working efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In the sunroof drain structure of the automobile for connecting an end 2b of a drain gutter 2a of the sunroof housing 2 installed on a periphery of a sunroof opening and the drain hose via a drain member 4, the drain gutter 2a is closed at its end by an end wall 23 and is formed with a drain outlet 24 in a bottom portion 22 of the end 2b, and the drain member 4 is provided with a receiving opening 41 corresponding to the drain outlet 24 for receiving drained water, a drain path 48 and a drain nozzle 49 for discharging water from the receiving opening 41. The drain member 4 and the bottom portion 22 are respectively provided with positioning means 25a, 25b, 42a, 42b for fitting with each other and the drain member 4 is vertically engaged and fixed to the bottom portion 22 with one touch while positioning the drain member 4 with respect to the bottom portion 22 by the positioning means so that the drain outlet 24 and the receiving opening 41 are aligned. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
