The turnstile (1) has blocking arms (2,3) that are connected with a main shaft (5), such that the blocking arms are moved between a locking position and a releasing position based on rotation of main shaft. Flat portions (6,7) are rotated around a longitudinal axis (8,9) of arms based on rotation of main-shaft. A pre-defined angular position of flat portion is achieved with respect to perpendicular direction, during locking position of arms. The flat portion is rotated during release position of arms, such that the passage of person is allowed and/or passage width is not restricted. |
