<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a penetration to a side ditch of an electric pole while avoiding a necessity bypassing the side ditch, and to correspond even to the specifications of the side ditches different at every road administrator when the electric pole is built to the side ditch section of a road. <P>SOLUTION: The electric pole 1 with the side ditch has an electric pole-shaped section 11 built on a ground for supporting electric cables and cables, the side ditch 40 embedded into the ground and an electric-pole supporting member being embedded into the ground and supporting the electric pole-shaped section 11. The electric-pole supporting member has an electric-pole supporting foundation member 30 with a recessed section having an upward opened longitudinal-section shape and an upper half section 32 capable of being housed in an opening between the side ditch 40 and the upper half section. The electric-pole supporting member further has concrete members 50A and 50B being arranged between the upper half section 32 and the side ditch 40 and firmly fixing the side ditch 40 and cover members 12 firmly formed at the lower ends of the electric pole-shaped section 11.
