<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The yarn distributor, comprising a shoe (2) able to slide in a striping bar track (6), a feeder (3) with a downward-pointing tip (3a) that guides a yarn towards the needles of a knitting machine, has the feeder connected to the shoe by a moving link so its tip can be positioned just above the knitting heads in a first knitting configuration and moved away from the knitting zone in a second, non-knitting configuration. The movement between the two configurations of the yarn feeder is controlled by a drive with links (7), a motor and an actuator (13), causing the feeder to turn about a pivot (16) on the shoe.
