The present invention relates to a method for producing a patch including a support layer and an adhesive layer arranged on at least one surface of the support layer. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a patch preserved for a long period of time and capable of achieving the skin permeability and material properties at high levels. The method of the present invention comprises: step A of obtaining an adhesive layer composition containing pre-ropinirole, wherein an adhesive layer contains 5-13.2 mass% of the pre-ropinirole; step B of heating the adhesive layer composition at a temperature in the range of 50-76°C for 5 minutes to 24 hours; and step C of cooling the adhesive layer composition after the heating to room temperature at an average temperature drop rate of 1-20°C/hour, to obtain the adhesive layer containing the pre-ropinirole at a supersaturated concentration in a dissolved form.
