<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a bright line phenomenon in which light irregularly reflected by an end face of an optical sheet enters an effective light emission region of a liquid crystal panel, thereby the light looks like a light line when a liquid crystal display device is obliquely viewed. <P>SOLUTION: A resin frame for storing a liquid crystal panel 1 and a backlight is composed of a resin frame 2 for holding the liquid crystal panel and a second resin frame 8 around the backlight. An optical sheet provided between the liquid crystal panel 1 and the backlight is extended to a clearance formed by the resin frame 2 and the second resin frame 8. Furthermore, the optical sheet is stored between the resin frame 2 and the second resin frame 8 without being supported by any component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
