<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cap-off performance of an erasable ink composition, whose erasability and fixability of writing are improved by using a coloring agent with a relatively large average particle size and a film-forming resin with a relatively small average particle size, by optimization of the film-forming resin without adding an excess amount of a wetting agent in order to maintain erasability and fixability of writing made by means of a writing instrument utilizing such an ink composition. <P>SOLUTION: An erasable ink composition contains at least a coloring agent, a film-forming resin, a water-soluble organic solvent and water, wherein the coloring agent has an average particle size of 2μm or more and includes 10 to 20 wt.% of the total amount of the ink component, the film forming resin is an aqueous resin emulsion and includes 0.1 to 10 wt.% of the total amount of the ink component, the resin particle used for the aqueous resin emulsion has an average particle size of 2μm or less and a glass transition temperature of 25 to 45°C, and the water-soluble organic solvent includes 5 to 20 wt.% of the total amount of the ink component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
