<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for compositing three-dimensional image data automatically. <P>SOLUTION: A three-dimensional data acquisition device 110 comprises a measurement head 111 for imaging an object at least from three directions. A three-dimensional data composition device 120 for automatically generating three-dimensional image data from the image data transmitted from the three-dimensional data acquisition device 110 comprises: a data processing part 125 for outputting instruction for causing the image data to be transmitted; and a three-dimensional image composition means 124 extracting the background image of the object, while computing the location of measurement head based on the extracted background image, extracting only the image of the object without background image, extracting a characteristic image by filtering the extracted image of the subject, and defining the same coordinate on the characteristic image by performing the matching process for comparing a plurality of characteristic images and automatically synthesizing the three-dimensional image data from the parameter information such as the position of the calculated measurement head and the information on the same coordinate on the characteristic image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
