<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio communication equipment capable of automatically performing radio communication, with optimal communication characteristics, without requiring any particular operation. <P>SOLUTION: The radio communication equipment includes a first or second antenna 111, 112 and a high frequency circuit 131 for performing radio communication with a communication target and has a portable use mode for use without fixing the equipment at a fixing point and a fixed use mode for use while fixing the equipment at the fixing point.
