<p>A pneumatic tire includes a tread portion (2) having a designated rotational direction (N), wherein the tread portion is provided with a plurality of main inclined grooves (3); each of the main inclined grooves includes, in each side of the tire equator, a first portion (4) and a second portion (5); the first portion (4) extends axially outward from the tire equator (C); the second portion (5) extends axially outwardly while inclining toward the opposite direction to the designated rotational direction (N) at an angle larger than that of the first portion so that a bent portion (9) is formed, which communicates with the respective second portions (5) of one of the main inclined grooves (3) next to the concerned main inclined groove in the rotational direction to form central blocks (7) and shoulder blocks (8) on the tread portion (2); in the designated rotation direction (N), a foremost portion of each of the central blocks (7) is positioned backward of a foremost portion (10e) of the shoulder block (8) axially adjacent to the concerned central block.</p> |
