<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The kiln has a housing defining a steam chamber and comprising a sample opening for dropping the sample. The housing is lined with a spinel ceramics at an inner side directed towards the steam chamber. The housing includes a rinsing opening for guiding rinsing fluid i.e. water. The opening is connected with an injection nozzle for feeding aerosol mist from the rinsing fluid. Constructive elements are attached at an interior of the housing. The ceramics include additives selected from liquefiers, ceramic fibers or inorganic fillers. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring total organic carbon value in a sample. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# High temperature kiln for measuring total organic carbon value in a sample i.e. waste water, in a chemical system according to DIN EN 1484. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The housing is lined with the spinel ceramics at the inner side directed towards the steam chamber, thus reducing degree of aging effects of the kiln, enabling complete combustion of the kiln, realizing a temperature change-resistant kiln, enabling quick and accurate measurement of the total organic carbon in the sample and reducing operating costs of the kiln over lifespan of the kiln while avoiding cleaning of hand.</p> |
