<p>A container 10 having ramp side gates 20,30 each connected to the container by a hinged side member 22, 32 which both hinges for swinging action and pivots for vertical action, so that when loading ramp 40 is lowed the free end members 21,31 connect with the ramp side rails 42. The ramp side gates contain a second hinge 24, 34 which creates the 2 part gate, the potentially narrower auxiliary part 26, 36 and the potentially larger main part 28, 38. The auxiliary part may make up between 10% and 20% of the length of the entire gate. The first part of the folding gate may be between 0.25m and 0.5m and the main part of the gate may be between 2m and 2.5m. There is also a claim for a live stock container which has the double part ramp gates as described above.</p> |
