<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To get ratings on a plurality of advertisements related to an image and to display the same with the image. <P>SOLUTION: A folder related to an image DB 29 is opened to display a window 32. When a user operates a mouse 15 to thereby select an image displayed in the window 32, a program 28 is started and a landmark is retrieved based on the photographing location information added to the image. An ID number of the retrieved landmark is sent to an advertisement server 13, and an advertisement corresponding to the ID number is retrieved. A personal computer 11 acquires advertisements 47, 48 retrieved by the advertisement server 13, and displays the same with the image on a monitor 14.
