PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film having good moldability, high heat resistance sufficient as an optical member, few surface defects, and negative orientation birefringence. SOLUTION: The optical film is obtained by molding a (meth)acrylic resin. The resin composition having high heat resistance and negative orientation birefringence is provided for the optical film, comprising a specific resin composition and having the aromatic vinyl unit ratio of 10-50 mol% and an acid value of 0.1-1.5 mmol/g.
