PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for preventing a pipe body from being pulled out capable of certainly preventing the pipe body inserted in a casing rod pressed into the ground from being pulled out together with the casing rod. SOLUTION: An outer pipe 13 is inserted into the casing rod 12 which is pressed into the ground using a drilling machine 2 having: a rail section 8; a carriage 4 which moves along the rail section 8; a water supply pipe 7 with the carriage 4 attached at one of ends thereof; and a joint 5 which is attached to the carriage 4 so as to be communicated with the water supply pipe 7 and has a casing rod 12 detachably attached thereto. After that, the outer pipe 13 is held, in a state that an upward movement thereof to the ground is restrained, by a holding rod 9 which is inserted into the joint 5 so that a tip section of the holding rod 9 is attached to an rear end section of the outer pipe 13 and the rear end section of the holding rod 9 is fixed to the drilling machine 2.
