<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium iron composite oxide, used in a lithium secondary cell cathode active material, which has a large active-material discharge capacity and has almost no deterioration in cycle to maintain the capacity even after the cycle, and also to provide a method for simply manufacturing the lithium iron composite oxide. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium iron composite oxide is an olivine-structured lithium iron composite oxide whose basic composition is LiFePO4 and whose particle has an average particle size of ≤1 μm. Its manufacturing method includes: a material mixing step for obtaining a mixture by mixing a lithium compound, an iron compound, and phosphorous-containing ammonium salts with each other; and a baking step for baking the mixture at a temperature of ≥600°C and ≤700°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
