METHOD FOR SCREENING ANTI-TUMOR AGENT HAVING THE ABILITY OF INHIBITING TRANSCRIPTION PROMOTING ACTIVITY OF EWS-OCT-4 FUSION PROTEIN

A method for screening antineoplastic which inhibits transcriptional activity of a WS-Oct-4 fusion protein is provided to screen the antineoplastic in a high-throughput way. A method for screening antineoplastic comprises the following steps of: treating candidate antineoplastic in a host cell transformed by a vector containing EWS-Oct-4 fusion protein coding polynucleotide sequence operately linked to a promoter and a vector containing a reporter gene operately linked to a promoter positively controlled by the EWS-Oct-4 fusion protein; and measuring degree of expression of the reporter gene in the transformed host cell. The EWS-Oct-4 fusion protein has amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:1.
