PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system which can suppress insufficiency of air stoichiometry and can suppress deterioration of a fuel cell.SOLUTION: The fuel cell system includes: a temperature sensor for measuring an offgas temperature distributing in a cathode offgas exhaust passage; an atmospheric pressure sensor for measuring an atmospheric pressure; a current value setting unit for setting a target current command value Id of the fuel cell; and a controller for setting a target upper limit current value Ih of the fuel cell based on the offgas temperature and the atmospheric pressure. The controller controls an output current value Ir of the fuel cell based on comparison between the target current command value Id and the target upper limit current value Ih. |
