PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip for an automobile including a positioning member prevented from peeling and falling during handling such as packaging or transportation. SOLUTION: This weather strip mounted along an opening edge portion of an automobile body 2 includes a closed loop-shaped weather strip body 10 and the positioning member 20 provided to be freely removable as a positioning member when mounting the weather strip body 10 on the body 2 in at least a portion of the weather strip body 10. The positioning member 20 is made as a positioning pin 20a including a head portion, a shaft portion and a locking portion to be fixed by being pierced into the weather strip body 10.
