PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical cockroach-capturing rod which can easily and hygienically exterminate a cockroach ahead. SOLUTION: The cylindrical cockroach-capturing rod is flat, elongated, and hollow entirely, and has openings at both ends. In the cylindrical cockroach-capturing rod, a capturing bag 4 is put at a rear end 2 of the cylindrical cockroach-capturing rod 1, the opening at a tip end part 3 of the capturing rod 1 is placed in front of the cockroach, the cockroach is driven in the capturing rod 1 through the opening, the cockroach is dropped in the capturing bag 4, and the capturing bag 4 in which the cockroach has gotten is sealed and abandoned, thus easily and hygienically exterminating the cockroach without feeling discomfort and uncleanliness visually and tactually.
