#CMT# #/CMT# The system (1) has receiving units arranged at a motor vehicle coaxial to a rollover body (10) e.g. rollover clamp. The rollover body is displacebly arranged at the receiver units between a storage position and an overturning position. The receiving unit includes a sectional dual walled profile (3), which includes a cavity defined by an inner wall and an outer wall. The cavity is sectionally filled with plastic bodies, which extend between the outer wall and the inner wall. The plastic bodies are screwed with the dual walled profile. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Rollover protection system for protecting occupants of a motor vehicle e.g. cabriolet and road star, during overturning. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The receiving unit includes the sectionally dual walled profile, which includes the cavity defined by the inner wall and the outer wall, and the cavity is sectionally filled with the plastic bodies that extend between the outer wall and the inner wall, thus cost-effectively producing the system with a low weight and high stability for reliable and efficient transmission of forces occurred during overturning. The utilization of the plastic bodies supports the inner wall and the outer wall relative to each other, thus reliably avoiding collapsing of the dual walled profile during loading. The system avoids deformation of the dual walled profile, and is inexpensively manufactured. The system enables simple and reliable introduction of the plastic bodies into the cavity, and requires small installation space. The system reliably prevents penetration of contamination and moisture into the receiver unit, thus avoiding damage of the system by corrosion. The system has a reliable and safe arrangement and enables simple and inexpensive assembly of the plastic body.
