<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid pressing tool for a cup food container that can properly prevent a lid body from curling after pouring hot water in the cup food container, and can notify the time when the food is cooked. <P>SOLUTION: The curl of the lid part peeled for pouring the hot water is suppressed for a predetermined time required for cooking, using the weight of the pressing tool 1 of the lid 13 of the cup food container 11 as closing control of an opening/closing controller. After the predetermined time, the opening/closing controller is changed to release the suppressing of opening at an outer periphery of the lid body 13, that is, opening control. Thus, the curl of the lid boy 13 can be suppressed for the predetermined time required for cooking.
