<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a pressure sensor for a long period, when the vessel and detection sections of the pressure sensor are connected by an attaching/removable mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A method of using the pressure sensor A includes: the vessel section 70, having a gas chamber 90 where a breather 90c is formed, a liquid chamber 91 and a flexible diaphragm 92 for dividing the gas chamber 90 and the liquid chamber 91; and the detection section 80, that is connected to the breather section 90c of the vessel section 70 by the attachment/detachment mechanism and detects the pressure of the liquid chamber 91 via the pressure of the gas chamber 90. In the method of using the pressure sensor A, the diaphragm 92 is deflected to the side of the gas chamber 90 from a center position C, by adjusting the pressure of the liquid chamber 91 in advance if the pressure of the liquid chamber 91 becomes negative with respect to the atmosphere, when pressure is detected. If the pressure of the liquid chamber 91 becomes positive with respect to the atmosphere when detecting pressure, by having the diaphragm 92 deflected to the side of the liquid chamber 91 from the center position C by adjusting the pressure of the liquid chamber 91, in advance, then the breather 90c and the detection section 80 of the vessel section 70 are connected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
