PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convey articles having dents on their outer peripheries while dispersing them in a floor length direction of a fixed floor or a moving floor. SOLUTION: An article aligning device 10 for aligning articles having dents etc. on their outer peripheries while conveying the articles, includes article distributing members 22 and 32 on the floor surfaces of at least some of the moving floors 30 or the fixed floors 20. The sections at each position in the article conveying direction, of the article distributing members 22 and 32 are gradually increased from the upstream side to the downstream side.
