PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sample slag S without interrupting blowing at the first half of the blowing and while preventing damage to a sampler probe 11 due to unslagged CaO etc. SOLUTION: A slag sampling method during blowing is provided in which, when the slag is sampled from a converter during the blowing by using the sampler probe 11 provided with the sampling part 12 for sampling the slag S, the total of the supply quantity of auxiliary materials into the converter 1 is set to be 20 kg/t or more, and then by the time when 50% of the first half of the time necessary for the blowing is reached, the position of the lower end of the sampler probe 11 is set to be higher than the molten metal surface 9a and also the position of the sampling part 12 of the sampler probe 11 is set so as to satisfy H<a/(0.0065A), wherein H denotes the set height (m) from the molten metal surface to the lower end of the sampling part 12, a denotes the total supply quantity (t) of the auxiliary materials, and A denotes the cross-sectional area (m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>) within a permanent brick of the barrel part 5 of the converter 1.
