PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure stable operation of a femtocell base station whose femtocell is visited by unexpectedly many mobiles.SOLUTION: A femtocell base station 10 counts the number of mobiles 30 visiting a femtocell 20, and decreases output of transmission radio waves so as to decrease a cell size of the femtocell 20 (e.g., decreasing from a cell size denoted by 20 to a cell size denoted by 21) when the condition is met, that is, the number of mobiles visiting the cell exceeds a threshold. Decreasing the cell size of the femtocell 20 decreases the number of the mobiles 30 visiting the cell and mitigates the load on the femtocell base station 10, which ensures stable operation of the femtocell base station 10. |
