METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUBSTRATE COMPRISING SILICONE LAYER CURED BY HYDROSILYLATION REACTION, AND SILICONE COMPOSITION EMPLOYING RECYCLED ORGANIC SOLVENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manfuacturing a substrate including a silicone layer, wherein poor curing of a silicone composition diluted with a collected solvent does not occur even if an organic solvent used in dilution of the silicone compositions has been repeatedly recycled when manufacturing the substrate including the silicone layer cured by hydrosilylation reaction.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a substrate including a silicone layer cured by hydrosilylation reaction includes the steps of: applying the substrate with a curable silicone composition including (a) an organic solvent having a boiling point of 120°C or less such as toluene and (b) a hydrosilylation reaction retarder having a boiling point of 150°C or higher such as 1-ethynyl-1-cyclohexanol; thereafter forming the silicone layer by hydrosilylation reaction to collect the component (a) which is volatile; and preferably using the collected component (a) to newly prepare a curable silicone composition.
