PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure which can assure sufficient rigidity and strength while assuring good formability.SOLUTION: A vehicle V is equipped with: a roof panel 11 which constitutes a top face of a vehicle body; a rear pillar outer 22 having an extension part 23a which extends toward a vehicle width direction inner side from an upper end; and an extension 25 which is located in the front of the extension part 23a and is joined to the extension part 23a. A first spot weld zone S1 is formed between the extension part 23a and the extension 25. A second spot weld zone S2 is formed between the extension part 23a and the roof panel 11. Plural first spot weld zones S1 are so located as to be spaced from one another by a prescribed first weld pitch P1. The second spot weld zone S2 is so located as to be spaced from the first spot weld zone S1 by a second weld pitch P2 which is shorter than the first weld pitch P1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
