PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling a server component in a server computing system environment and to improve stability of ambient temperature of server component mounted in a rack unit.SOLUTION: A rack unit 100 includes a frame 102 in which a mounting bracket 106 is mounted on a front side thereof. The bracket is configured so that the frame is mounted on the server rack. A conduit is coupled to a backside of the frame, and configured to adjustably extend from the frame. The conduit is configured to substantially thermally isolate a flow of gas in the conduit from a flow of gas in the server rack through the conduit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
