<p>The invention relates to a remote shutoff device (12) for a suction or ventilation apparatus that includes a suction duct (15) as well as a stopper (19), the suction duct intended for connection to the suction or ventilation apparatus at a downstream end (16), in the exhaust flow (F) circulation direction, and for connection to a suction nozzle at an upstream end, the stopper (19) being pivotable between a suction position wherein the stopper does not block the duct (15), so that suction in the nozzle can be achieved, and a stopping position, wherein the stopper blocks the duct (15), so that a significant depression is generated downstream from the shutoff device (12), intended to be detected by the suction or ventilation apparatus (1) in order to cause the latter to be shut off.</p> |
