A diagnosis device for solar cells given in the present invention includes: a solar cell connection unit which includes a string connection terminal capable of being connected to a solar cell string; a line connection unit which includes a line connection terminal capable of being connected to each power line; a bypass element which bypasses, depending on the power generation status of the solar cell string connected to the solar cell connection unit, the whole or partial path of the connected solar cell string; a solar cell monitoring unit which monitors the operation status of the solar cell string connected to the solar cell connection unit; and a communication unit which transmits the monitoring information by the solar cell monitoring unit to an external control system using a wireless or wired communication means.
