摘要 Disclosed is a complex of a protein and metal nanoparticles wherein a particular distance between metal nanoparticles is maintained. In the complex, which is of a plurality of metal nanoparticles and an apoprotein derived from a heme protein dimer, the plurality of aforementioned metal nanoparticles are bonded to the aforementioned protein by means the aforementioned metal nanoparticles being modified in at least one locus by a group represented by formula I and/or formula II, and heme contained in the groups represented by formula I and/or formula II that modify the aforementioned metal nanoparticles being bonded to the aforementioned apoprotein derived from the heme protein dimer from which heme has been eliminated. In the aforementioned formula (I), R1, R2, R3, R4, M, and Y are as defined in the specification.
