PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot strip winding control device capable of appropriately winding a tip end of a hot strip.SOLUTION: The hot strip winding control device of the invention includes: mandrel temperature acquisition means capable of estimating or measuring a temperature of a mandrel 3 around which a hot strip 10 is wound; and additional winding equipment 9 including rollers 4, 5, and 6 pressing the hot strip 10 against the mandrel 3, and capable of controlling positions of the rollers 4, 5, and 6. When winding of the hot strip 10 around the mandrel 3 starts, waiting positions of the rollers 4, 5, and 6 are corrected on the basis of the temperature of the mandrel 3. |
