PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a driver to more easily perceive relative movement information (peripheral object information) with respect to a moving body, of an object (a detection target object) in the periphery of the moving body, from an image displayed in a display area ahead of a travel direction of the moving body.SOLUTION: An information providing device 200 comprising image light projection means 230 for projecting image light to a light transmission member includes: distance detection means 100 for detecting a relative distance in a moving body travel direction to a detection target object existing in the periphery of a moving body; viewpoint position detection means for detecting a viewpoint position of a driver 301; and display control means 250 for controlling the image light projection means so that a perceived distance of the driver according to motion parallax employed for a target object image is varied with the relative distance in the moving body travel direction to the detection target object, that is detected by the distance detection means, by changing a display position of the target object image showing the detection target object in accordance with a detection result of the viewpoint position detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
