PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection device that can improve detection accuracy of a movement of an object around a moving body by detecting a movement of the moving body with the same device.SOLUTION: An object detection device to be loaded on a moving body comprises: a transmission antenna 22; a reception antenna 24; a radio signal transmission/reception unit 2 that alternately changes over first and second beams of the transmission antenna 22 to transmit a radio signal, and receives a reflection wave signal by use of the reception antenna 24; and a speed detection unit 10 that detects at least one ground speed of the moving body on the basis of the radio signal transmitted by use of the first beam and a reflection wave signal having the radio signal reflected upon a road surface, and detects a relative speed of an object with respect to the moving body on the basis of the radio signal transmitted by use of the second beam and a reflection wave signal having the radio signal reflected upon the object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
