PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a stator from being damaged by a coolant discharged from a radial passage provided in a rotor and inhibit deterioration of the strength of the rotor.SOLUTION: A motor includes: a stator; and a rotor 12 disposed at the radial inner side of the stator. A radial passage 34 which extends to the radial outer side in an interior part of the rotor 12, opens on an outer peripheral surface of the rotor 12, and discharges a coolant to the stator is formed in the rotor 12. In a wall surface of a rotor outer periphery side portion of the radial passage 34, only a wall surface 42 located at the rear side with respect to a rotor normal rotation direction A inclines relative to a direction L in which the radial passage 34 extends. The structure allows an opening of the radial passage 34, which is located on the outer peripheral surface of the rotor 12, to expand in a rearward direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
