PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer connector for electric power cable capable of exerting autonomy to maintain a posture even when used in a horizontal posture, which is smaller in weight than when used a porcelain insulator.SOLUTION: A polymer porcelain bushing 2 of a polymer connector 1 for electric power cable is formed mainly of polymer material and includes: an insulation protective layer having a first cable insertion hole 2a, which has an inner diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the end part 101 of the electric power cable before an end part 101 of the electric power cable is inserted; and which comes into close contact with end part 101 of the electric power cable when the end part 101 of the electric power cable is inserted; and an embedded pipe 21 made of a metal having a second cable insertion hole 2b, the inner diameter of which is larger than an outer diameter of the end part 101 of the electric power cable, and which is embedded under the inner peripheral surface closer to the insertion port side than the first cable insertion hole 2a of the insulation protective layer facing the end part 101 of the electric power cable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
