PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine stator which has a structure in which two insulators are fitted in both sides in an axial direction of teeth, and can improve an insulation property.SOLUTION: A stator includes a first insulator 30 and a second insulator fitted in both side parts in an axial direction of teeth 23 and oppose to each other in the axial direction through a gap; and a coil wound about the teeth 23 through the first insulator 30 and the second insulator. Each insulator 30 has a teeth opposite plate portion 34 and a yoke opposite plate portion 31 which are plate portions disposed between a stator core 21 and the coil. The plate portions 31 and 34 have core side surfaces and coil side surfaces, and tip end surfaces 31c and 34c connecting the core side surface and the coil side surface and facing the gap. Of the insulators, the tip end surfaces 31c and 34c of the plate portion 31 and 34 in at least one insulator have projecting portions 31e and 34e projecting in an axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
