An apparatus for increasing thrust of a ship is disclosed. The apparatus for increasing thrust of the ship according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a pod to which a propeller for the hull propulsion which is connected; a duct disposed in the circumference of the propeller; and a flow change unit disposed in the front of the duct to change the flow of the water current which is flowed into the duct.
