摘要 <p>The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for driving a touch screen. The touch screen driving apparatus of the present invention includes: a touch screen including Tx lines, Rx lines which cross the Tx lines, and sensor nodes which is formed on a crossing part of the RX lines and the Tx lines; a Tx driving circuit which supplies a driving pulse to the Tx lines in order, and the driving pulses of inverse phases to the adjacent Tx lines; first and second Rx driving circuits which sample the voltage of the sensor node received through the Rx lines coupled with the Tx lines and converts the sampled voltage into digital data; and a touch controller which controls the Tx driving circuit and the first and second Rx driving circuits. The first and second Rx driving circuits sample the voltage of the sensor node by dividing the Rx lines, and the Rx line on the boundary of the first and second Rx driving circuits is commonly connected to the first and second Rx driving circuits. The touch screen driving apparatus and the method thereof according to the present invention has an effect on improving touch sensitivity without signal delay by arranging multiple driving circuits used for a large touch screen corresponding to a large display panel.</p>
