Disclosed are a ceramic filter assembly and a system for reducing toxic substances in an exhaust gas. The ceramic filter assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a plate-shaped ceramic filter formed between an inlet passage and an outlet passage of an exhaust gas, reducing dusts, sulfides, nitrides included in the exhaust gas, and having the thickness; and a plat-shaped frame formed on a flow passage where the exhaust gas is moved, and including an insertion hole where the ceramic filter is inserted.
