The present invention relates to a composition including bacteriophage EK99P-1 which is a bacteriophage isolated from nature and is capable of killing Escherichia coli type K99 by inoculating Escherichia coli type K99, and a method for preventing and treating infection caused by Escherichia coli type K99. The bacteriophage EK99P-1 which is an active component of the composition according to the present invention is characterized by having an ability of killing Escherichia coli type K99 and having a dielectric substance represented by sequence number 1.
