PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple configuration capable of calculating total travel distance in a system that calculates the total travel distance of a mobile body using a plurality of electronic apparatuses.SOLUTION: In a plurality of plotter devices (electronic apparatuses), only one apparatus belonging to the same network functions as a master, and apparatuses other than the master function as slaves. Each of them measures the travel distance of a mobile body together with the other apparatuses belonging to the same network. Each plotter device comprises a measuring unit, a communication unit, and a calculation unit. The measuring unit adds a travel distance while its device is functioning as the master, to a master travel distance of the device, and does not add a travel distance while its device is functioning as the slave, to the master travel distance of the device. The communication unit transmits the master travel distance of the device to the other apparatuses and receives a master travel distance from the other apparatuses. The calculation unit totals the master travel distance of the device and other apparatuses to calculate the total travel distance of the mobile body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
