The present invention relates to a receptacle optical amplifier which is detachably attached to a transceiver installation position of existing switch equipment. The receptable optical amplifier is pluggable, has a mounting portion (112) within a body unit (100), a control unit (140) as a printed circuit board (PCB) is installed within the mounting portion (112), an EDF (160) is installed in a lower portion of the control unit (140), and a passive and active element (150) is installed in an upper portion of the control unit (140). The receptacle optical amplifier also includes first and second isolators, a WDM coupler, a pumping LD, and a coupler plus PD. |
