<p>The present invention relates to an oxygen sensor for a vehicle and a method for manufacturing thereof. The oxygen sensor for a vehicle comprises a sealing member (17) which is mounted on an outer circumferential surface of a sensor element (15) installed in a sensor housing (11), and fixes the sensor element (15) to the sensor housing (11). The sealing member (17) is formed by compressing ceramic powder including glass and cordierite. The sealing member mounted on the outer circumferential surface of the sensor element is formed by compressing the ceramic powder including glass and cordierite to maximize a sealing effect, thereby preventing the characteristic shift down (CSD) of the oxygen sensor when the oxygen sensor is left under a condition of high temperature and high humidity.</p> |
