<p>PURPOSE: A method and a system for providing a virtual storage in which a utility computing service is possible are provided to pay costs that a user spends in the user's side and realize efficient management in a provider's side. CONSTITUTION: A virtual storage providing system(30) includes a file management unit and a file management DB. The file management unit includes physical servers. The physical server saves a data file received from a user. In the file management unit, storage resources of the physical servers are formed by one virtual storage resource. The file management DB stores meta data including a logical path and a file name of a file corresponding to data stored in the file management unit. Data access is provided to a final user by using the logical path and the file name.</p> |
