According to the present invention, a speed detection system for multiple traffic lanes comprises: a radar unit to receive a control signal from a DAC to output a radar signal and transmit a radar signal reflected and received from a vehicle running on a road to an amplification unit; the DAC to receive a control signal of an MCU to convert the control signal into an analog signal to transmit the analog signal to the radar unit; the amplification unit to amplify the reflected radar signal received from the radar unit; an ADC to convert the reflected radar signal amplified by the amplification unit into a digital signal to transmit the digital signal to the MCU; the MCU to transmit the control signal to the DAC to transmit the radar signal towards the vehicle, receive the reflected radar signal from the ADC to detect a running vehicle by a vehicle detection algorithm, determine a detection distance to the vehicle, detection time, and a traffic lane according to the distance to the vehicle, calculate a speed of a vehicle running on each traffic lane, store speed information of the vehicle running on each traffic lane in a memory, and transmit the speed information of each vehicle to a server; a transceiver unit to transmit vehicle speed information for each traffic lane to the server by control of the MCU; and the server to display a speed vale of each vehicle for each traffic lane received from the MCU via the transceiver unit using a display unit. |
