The present invention provides a character input processing method and an apparatus applied to the same. According to the present invention, the character input processing method includes the steps of: confirming the input of at least one soft key; confirming the input number of at least soft key; and processing the input of at least one soft key corresponding to the number of input. The apparatus applied to the character input processing method includes a touch screen which displays information and detects a touch input event inputted by a user, at least one control unit, and a memory unit which stores a character input program. The present invention rapidly inputs a plurality of characters through simple touch input. |
