According to an embodiment, a drive mechanism is provided with a driving source, an inner space, an air supply fan, and an exhaust fan. The inner space holds the driving source. The air supply fan supplies air to the inner space. The exhaust fan discharges air from the inner space. The drive mechanism maintains the internal pressure of the inner space below than that of the pressure outside of the inner space with the air stream generated by the air supply fan and the exhaust fan.
