Provided is a method for manufacturing a flexible display device using a plastic film as a substrate. The method for manufacturing a flexible display device comprises the steps of: forming a plurality of plastic films on a carrier substrate to be spaced apart from each other using a mask member; forming a display unit including a plurality of pixels on the top of each plastic film; cutting the carrier substrate between the plastic films; and separating the carrier substrate from the plastic films.
